As a lot of you are aware, one of my new year targets was to learn to crochet, I am getting there, there is sometimes more unpicking than stitching in a day, but I do enjoy it.

So, I thought I would put this new found love to a purpose and get sponsored for a great cause. I lost my Nan to blood cancer, so it is a charity close to my heart.

I will post on Facebook what I have achieved (or not), and I aim to stitch for a minimum of 2 hours a day I hoped to have crocheted for a minimum of 65 hours during May. I do suffer with Arthritis in my hands as so I am going to try and make all the characters from Winnie the pooh, but on sore finger days |I am crocheting a throw, and I want to teach myself to make lots of different granny squares.

Every 13 minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. We can help give them a second chance of life. I'm taking on Knit (crochet) every day in May to raise money for Anthony Nolan to help save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
