I am running the London Marathon 2024 with team Sarcoma UK, a national charity dedicated to funding vital research, providing support for individuals affected by sarcoma cancer, and advocating for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue, making it difficult to diagnose and treat.

When my friend first mentioned Sarcoma, I didn't know what it was or what it meant for someone diagnosed with Sarcoma, since teaming up with the charity for this event, I've learned so much more.

My long runs are made up of several loops of local roads and the park. If you see me once, you'll probably see me 5 more times doing the same thing. I'm still nervous about the thought of running 26 miles & my finish time is a pipe dream.

Join me in this important cause and help make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. Together, we can bring hope and support to individuals battling this challenging disease.

8 weeks to go ...

I've come this far and find it hard to believe that I can run more than my regular 5k parkrun.

Since signing up with Sarcoma UK, our family have two young and beautiful cousins fighting their own battle with cancer. I would also like to dedicate my run to these two courageous & determined ladies 💚

My daughter Ellie is supporting one of her best friends this month, Ava's Dad passed away recently after fighting his own battle with cancer, RIP Tom 💔
