Savannah's Abseiling for Change: Supporting Suicide Prevention · 19 July 2025

Violet Project are the Midland's dedicated Suicide Prevention Charity, advocating to prevent suicides and support those who been affected by a suicide loss. Every year over 6500 people die by suicide leaving 10,000's of people grieving. We offer real community support, more than just a helpline.

Story

Join Savannah as she takes on the thrilling challenge of abseiling down Coventry Cathedral to honour the memory of her beloved brother Shai and friend Kane.

This daring descent represents not only her commitment to celebrating Shai and Kane's lives but also to raising vital funds for Violet Project CIO.

Savannah is passionate about making a difference, and through this adventure, she hopes to inspire others to contribute to a cause to raise awareness of mental illness and suicide. Every donation, no matter how small, will be used to increase our community development work to help save lives.

Help us support this important cause and remember Shai and Kane by donating to our JustGiving page. Together, we can make a difference to help others!

This abseil event will be on 19th July at 1.30 pm. You are welcome to come along and watch her abseil and cheer on those who are taking on the descent!

Thank you for your generosity and support.
