Members of the Anstruther Lifeboat Crew & Families group are swapping their beds for a sleeping bag to raise vital funds and awareness for veterans who are experiencing homelessness in the UK right now.

The group intends to conduct a 'slipway sleepout' to raise as much money as possible to help the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) to provide safe warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.

Many members of the group, young and old, come from local fishing families and have family connections to the Forces and some are veterans. Everyone participating recognises this as a wonderful opportunity to help.
