DWA provide support and guidance to bereaved families following the loss of a child or children at any age or gestation and by any cause. With a specific lean towards the care of the often overlooked bereaved father we are a purely voluntary organisation with no paid staff members

Story

Hi everyone,

Myself (Anthony) and my good customer Doug Wood have been bald for the last 25-30 years – and we’ve loved the low-maintenance life! But for the past 6 months, we’ve bravely let our hair grow out all in aid of an incredible local charity close to our hearts: Daddy’s with Angels.

Daddy’s with Angels is a UK-based child loss charity (registered number 1173978) that provides vital support, resources, and guidance to families – especially bereaved fathers – who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child at any age or gestation. Run entirely by volunteers, they help thousands through peer support groups, advice, and compassionate care when it’s needed most.

It’s been a tough (and hilarious) journey for us both – itchy scalps, sweaty heads, and we’ve spent a small fortune on shampoo and conditioner we never needed before! 😂😂 But if growing out our locks can help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause, it’s been 100% worth it.

We’re finally getting the chop and aiming to raise £600 to support the amazing work they do.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference to families going through unimaginable grief.

Thank you so much for your support – please donate if you can, and share this page far and wide!
