Challenge Accepted!!

I will be taking on The Great Silk Run, running 7 marathons in 7 days from the border of Afghanistan to the border of China.

I will be running through valleys, remote land where there are no people, through canyons and mountain passes. The temperature and the altitude (finishing at just short of 4200m asl) are going to make this even more of a task!

I will be staying with locals and sleeping in tent along the way, no showers or fancy meals.

I will be running a number of marathons and ultra marathons between now and then to prepare.

But all for a great cause! Raising vital funds for the amazing St Gemma’s Hospice. Money raised helps so much with the care and service they continue to provide to family, friends and loved ones in our community.
