Story
For my birthday, I’m not asking for gifts. Instead, I’m inviting support for The Wildlife Trusts. I’ve turned 60—and I find myself filled less with a sense of age, and more with gratitude. Gratitude to God, for the journey, for the people, and for the simple privilege of being here.
The Lancashire Wildlife Trust began in 1962 by people, who like you, knew they needed to take action. Since then we have grown to be the largest nature conservation body in the area, working at a grass roots, local level whilst also being part of a strong cohesive movement.
We have saved many special places, acquiring & managing them as nature reserves—we look after over 1,288 hectares of havens for rare & threatened species & habitats. But we need your help ensure our work doesn't stop there and that we continue to fight for natures survival.
