Story
I’m Running the London Marathon in Full Fire Kit & Breathing Apparatus for The Fire Fighters Charity!
I’ll be taking on the TCS London Marathon in one of the toughest ways imaginable – wearing full fire kit and breathing apparatus, weighing over 25kg, to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
This charity means a lot to me and uk fire service communities throughout the country. They’ve supported me, my family and my colleagues through some incredibly tough times, and I’ll never forget the difference they made in our lives. Their ongoing work helps thousands of fire and rescue personnel and their families with mental health support, physical rehabilitation, and community care.
Running 26.2 miles is no easy feat – doing it under the weight and heat of fire gear makes it even more demanding. But I’m doing it proudly, knowing that every step I take is in support of this amazing cause.
This is also the special year that I will be celebrating my 40th Birthday, so what better thing to do thank tick off something on the bucket list doing something fantastically bonkers for charity.
If you can, please donate. No amount is too small. Your support will help The Fire Fighters Charity continue to provide life changing care and support to the people who risk their lives to keep others safe.
Thank you for reading, donating, and sharing this page. Your generosity truly means so much!
