Story
Having volunteered with Crisis UK over Christmas and New Year, I have seen first-hand the help they provide to homeless people - shelter and companionship over the winter holiday season as well as practical help in securing long-term accommodation and accessing healthcare, employment, legal services and benefits.
I'll be running multiple ultramarathons during 2024 to raise money for Crisis, including some of the most iconic and challenging races in the UK and Europe, totally at least 1000km in overall distance. The current plan includes the following races:
January - Spine Challenger (170km), Arc of Attrition (170km)
July - Eiger 250 (250km)
August - Race Across Scotland (330km)
August - UTMB (subject to ballot, 170km)
November - 360 The Challenge (270km)
There may be a Paddy Buckley Round and a Greensand Way FKT attempt somewhere along the line as well!
