I'm retiring from my position at Hello! magazine this summer and want to mark it with a personal challenge: riding from Madrid, where Hello!'s parent company Hola! is based, to London, where I have worked for them for the past 18 years. I'll be raising funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders or MSF), the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation.

MSF says:

We provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

We work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.
