Going sober for October

53two is a registered charity supporting all artists and creatives, in particular those from underserved backgrounds, minorities and/or those with disabilities. We provide bursaries, opportunities and services where otherwise they might not be available.

Story

Hi all,

I have decided to go SOBER for OCTOBER in order to do a bit of fundraising. Anyone who knows me will appreciate that this is a tall order for me, especially given it’s my Birthday Month but, the chance to detox and raise some cash for a fabulous venue will mean it’s absolutely worthwhile.

Over the past year, 53two has become a firm favourite with the Keddie Scott North office. Their ethos, inclusivity and nurturing capacity is second to none. 53two specialises in producing new writing and aims to provide an avenue for creatives and allow audiences to see work they have never seen before whilst striving to tell the stories that need to be told now; to challenge, inform and educate, change perceptions and ignite discussion.

Most importantly for me, 53two encourages, champions and nurtures disabled and disadvantaged artists and visitors from across Greater Manchester.

I know funds are tight for many at the moment, so no matter how small or large, your donation will be very much appreciated.

Thanks as always,

Anthony x

PS: I've pre-warned Guinness that their sales will plummet in October!!
