I’m fundraising for Mainstay DRP’s Pay It Forward Fund to support Silent Cuts, a sensory-aware hair salon designed for people who find traditional salon environments overwhelming.

A haircut might seem like a small thing — but for many autistic and neurodivergent people, it can turn an everyday task into something incredibly difficult. Noise, smells, and unfamiliar surroundings can make a typical salon feel overwhelming.

Silent Cuts removes those barriers. It offers a calm, supportive space with one-to-one appointments and familiarisation visits, giving each person the time and reassurance they need to feel comfortable and in control.

The Pay It Forward Fund ensures cost is never a barrier to accessing this support.
