Story
Dear family and friends,
I hope this message finds you well. It's been a challenging year for our family since my father, Ex British-Gurkha Soldier Cpl Mek Ras Gurung, passed away due to cancer. His battle with this dreadful disease has left a lasting impact on our lives and has inspired me to do something meaningful in his memory.
In honour of my father's memory and as a way to give back to others facing similar battles, I've decided to take on a significant challenge. From 2nd to 7th October, I will be embarking on a 100-mile fitness bike cycling journey. My goal is to cycle 20 miles each day for five days to complete this distance. I'll be sharing my journey and workouts through social media to keep you all updated.
But this endeavour is not just about personal achievement; it's about raising funds for a worthy cause. I am fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organization that provides invaluable aid and support to cancer victims and their families. Cancer is a battle that affects far too many lives, and every contribution can make a difference.
I'm reaching out to you, my dear family and friends, to request your assistance and cooperation in this endeavour. Your support, whether it's a donation or simply spreading the word about my fundraising efforts, can help us make a positive impact in the lives of those battling cancer.
If you would like to contribute to this cause, please visit my fundraising page { justgiving.com/page/antim-gurung-1695829069570 }. Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to providing much-needed support to cancer victims.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering this request and for being a part of this meaningful tribute to my father's memory. Together, we can make a difference and offer hope to those in need.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Antim Gurung
