Story
I am an experienced Marathon runner and have run the London marathon from 2010 fundraising for charity projects. I have supported a number of causes, but in recent years have been focusing on Ukraine and its struggle for survival.
As in 2024, I will be raising money to buy used ambulances to be sent to the frontline in Ukraine to help save lives. I am aiming to collect £10K.
I do my best to show good results as an amateur athlete. I strive to get an under three hours result, and have often succeeded in the past, with my personal best standing at 2hrs43minutes in 2022. I am training intensively, so, you might bump into me running through Eltham forests and green areas!
It is my 14th London Marathon, and I am aiming to clear my 2h30 target this year (or by 2k30 the latest)!
The donation will be received and processed by the charity The Allen Trust (RCN 1146388), set up by Tony Allen, a long-time friend, who has already sent many ambulances to Ukraine.
