Chichester Emergency Services, Armed Forces and Community Day 2026
The Chichester Emergency Services, Armed Forces and Community Day 2026 is a free community event designed to bring together the people, organisations and volunteers who help keep our communities safe, resilient and connected.
Building on the success of previous events, the day will showcase the incredible work carried out by our emergency services, armed forces, voluntary organisations, charities, community groups and local businesses. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the people behind the uniforms, explore a wide range of vehicles and equipment, enjoy live demonstrations and scenarios, and learn more about the vital services available across our area.
The event aims to strengthen relationships between emergency responders and the communities they serve, inspire future generations, promote volunteering opportunities, and raise awareness of the many organisations that work tirelessly to support the public every day.
Throughout the day there will be emergency service displays, military exhibits, live rescue demonstrations, historic and modern vehicles, family entertainment, community stalls, educational activities, live music, food vendors and much more. The event is designed to be engaging, informative and accessible for people of all ages.
Whilst the event itself is free to attend, we will be raising money throughout the day via our QR code donations and JustGiving page in support of The Fire Fighters Charity.
The Fire Fighters Charity provides lifelong support to serving and retired fire and rescue service personnel, fire staff, volunteers and their families across the United Kingdom. The charity offers specialist rehabilitation, mental health support, nursing care, wellbeing services and financial assistance to those affected by illness, injury, trauma or difficult life circumstances. Their work plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the fire and rescue community both during and after service.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support the incredible work carried out by the charity and make a real difference to members of the fire and rescue family when they need it most.
In addition to supporting The Fire Fighters Charity, the event will also welcome a number of charities and community organisations who will be raising awareness and funds for their own important causes throughout the day. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet representatives from a wide range of organisations, learn more about the valuable work they carry out within our communities, and support the causes that matter most to them.
Thank you for supporting the Chichester Emergency Services, Armed Forces and Community Day 2026 and for helping us raise funds for such important causes.
