Story
On October 17th, I’ll be attempting my first ever IRONMAN.
That’s a 3.8km swim, a 180km bike ride and then a 42km run.
I’ll be honest, the emotions are high. It’s a huge challenge, and there are definitely moments where I question whether I can do it. But all I can do is try.
When I really think about it, being able to train for something like this and take part in an extreme endurance event is a privilege.
But enough about me.
I’m taking on this challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that supports people and families affected by cancer.
What I’m doing is something I’ve chosen to take on. For many people affected by cancer, the challenges they face are not something they chose, and they can have a huge impact on their lives and the lives of those around them.
That’s why I want to use this challenge to raise as much money as I can and hopefully make a small difference.
Please donate whatever you can. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Let’s try and raise as much as we can.
Thank you
