Antony Flynn is raising money for Accessible Counselling Therapy Limited

Kaunas(Lithuania) Half Marathon 21.1K(13 mil) Run · 26 April 2026

ACT provides accessible, affordable, and effective mental health support for individuals aged 18 and above across South London and Kent. ACT recognises the importance of having equal opportunities to improve mental health and well-being, regardless of financial constraints.

Story

Hi All,

I am pleased to say I will be raising money for Access Counselling & Therapy. The majority of people at some point in their lives will either have had friends/family or themselves who have struggled with mental health. Currently anyone who has sought help from their GP for mental health issues will be faced frustratingly with never ending counselling waiting lists or offered just medication as a solution. For many, where private therapy is too expensive, ACT provides extremely affordable counselling based on your income. Services like ACT are heavily relied upon by our NHS to share the burden of an ever increasing mental health epidemic in the UK. It is vital we support and cherish these types of services that offer hope for people who are struggling within our communities.

It is a cause close to my heart and I will be running the Kaunas Half Marathon (21k) in Lithuania on April 26th 2026 to raise money and awareness for ACT and the great work they do.

Through compassionate care and evidence-based approaches, we aim to alleviate psychological distress by providing accessible, affordable, and effective therapy and counselling. By fostering social inclusion, continuously working to prevent social isolation, we hope to respond the needs of marginalized individuals while assisting integration back into society. Together, we aim to create more inclusive, informed, resilient communities.
