Join Anything Ongar and the whole community in spreading Christmas cheer while supporting an incredible local cause!

As well as trying to rise money at our Ongar Christmas Lights event Sunday 30th November we're calling on every business and resident in Ongar to dig out their most festive, fabulous, or downright funny Christmas jumpers on Friday 12th December and donate to St Clare Hospice – a charity that touches so many lives in our community.

Why St Clare Hospice?

St Clare Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses across West Essex and East Hertfordshire. They care for patients and their families with compassion, dignity, and expertise – completely free of charge.

But here's what many people don't know: St Clare Hospice relies on charitable donations to fund the majority of their vital services. Every pound we raise helps them continue their incredible work right here in our community.

How to Get Involved

It couldn't be easier to join in the festive fun:

• Wear your Christmas jumper on Friday 12th December – whether you're at work, at home, or out and about in Ongar

• Donate what you can – every contribution makes a real difference

• Share your photos on social media using #OngarChristmasJumper and tag Anything Ongar

• Encourage others – spread the word to friends, family, colleagues, and customers

We're especially calling on all Ongar businesses to get your whole team involved! Make it a fun day at work, encourage your customers to join in, and show our community spirit. Whether you run a shop, restaurant, trade business, or service – let's see those jumpers!
