Running the Paris Marathon: 10 Years of Gratitude and Hope
Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Now, a decade later, I’m running to give back to the community that helped me through my recovery.
Each year, around 42,000 people in Ireland hear the same life-changing words I did. Thanks to the work of organizations like the Irish Cancer Society, survival rates are improving, and more people are able to share their stories of recovery and strength. The Irish Cancer Society funds groundbreaking research and offers support services that make an enormous difference to patients and families.
This marathon is my way of celebrating 10 years of health while raising funds to ensure more people get the care and support they need. Every euro donated goes toward cancer research and vital services that save lives and provide comfort during the toughest times.
I would be so grateful for your support as I take on this challenge. Together, we can continue the progress that has already changed so many lives.
