In May 2023 my 2nd daughter Aoife Rose decided to turn up 3 weeks premature! Unfortunately she was born with an infection in her lungs. Within half an hour of her being born in Colchester Hospital she was put into a incubator and had a team of doctors around her in intensive care.

Her condition severely worsened over the next 12 hours and the decision was made to transfer her to The Rosie Hospital in Addenbrookes in Cambridge.

Aoife spent the next 6 days in Neonatal Intensive care unit. Here she received what can only be described as the best hospital care in the world by a team of nurses and doctors who are simply incredible.

Not only did they care for our baby but also helped my wife and I through a very stressful and upsetting time.

They saved our baby Aoife's life and we owe them the world.

I am helping to raise money for this amazing hospital and Neonatal Intensive care ward.

Aoife is now 4 months old and is a very healthy happy baby (see picture)
