Story
On Friday, 28th February 2025, colleagues from Coventry Building Society will be swapping their beds for sleeping bags to support Centrepoint in their mission to provide homeless young people with the safety, security, and opportunity to escape homelessness for good.
In the past year alone, a staggering 136,000 young people aged 16-25 presented to their local councils as homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. That’s one young person every four minutes. This reality is unacceptable, and it is our collective responsibility to advocate for change.
Centrepoint believes they have the solution to end youth homelessness, but they need our help to make it a reality. While our Sleep Out event does not aim to replicate the experience of sleeping rough, it offers a small glimpse into the harsh realities faced by many young people each year. By participating in this event, we will raise awareness about the plight of thousands of young individuals while also raising vital funds to support Centrepoint's essential services.
Your generous contributions will go directly towards providing urgent housing and wraparound support for those in need. Additionally, your support will bolster Centrepoint's important advocacy work, ensuring that youth homelessness remains at the forefront of government agendas.
Together, we can make a significant impact and help change lives for the better. Thank you for your support!
