A determined group of Mark First School children have set themselves an incredible goal: cycling approximately 7.7 miles from Apex Park to Brean Down — across the sand! They’re taking on this adventure to support their Headteacher’s mission to raise funds for new iPads and Chromebooks, helping to enrich learning and open up new opportunities in the classroom.

The challenge was set by Mr Laken, who recently swam the equivalent width of the English Channel on Sunday 21st December. He asked the children to collectively run, cycle, or swim the same distance — and they didn’t hesitate to accept!

Every sponsorship will help motivate these young people to push themselves, believe in their abilities, and succeed together, while also making a lasting difference to their education.
