The August Challenge (Set by Ryan)

Running from Portstewart strand to Newcastle .. coastal route roughly 300k

Back in January Ryan accidentally started a challenge for the members at Apollo fitness Banbridge. Each month has been something different with many getting involved. So far 4 members have completed all 4 challenges to date. It was during the March challenge I suggested to Ryan about doing something for charity in memory of My Mother and Father. As they both lost their fight to Cancer it was an obvious choice to try and fundraise for Cancer Focus.

Ryan has ran many Ultras but this is the Ultimate challange for him and also other members of Apollo Fitness Banbridge. Chrissy, Chris, Phillip and Ryan will be at the start line and I'm sure many others will get involved. Apollo members have been a real support to me after losing Dad last year so it means a lot they are involved and mad enough to do it along side Ryan!!

The Challange will be on the August 9th which would have been Dad's 68th birthday.
