Royal Parks Half Marathon 2025 · 12 October 2025 ·

We are a children's cancer charity funding research into finding more targeted and less harsh treatments for the childhood solid tumour, Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS). We have invested in 13 RMS research projects at leading UK institutions. We also support the children and families impacted by the disease.

Story

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SUPPORT!! I can’t express enough how your messages and monies of encouragement got me around the race. I couldn’t think too much about Neive without getting upset, so focused on the positives (as she would have), and felt grateful to be there with every single step. The amount of donations has blown me away - and the cumulative total for Alice’s Arc is a phenomenal £125k including match funding - thank you so much for your contribution. 💝🏃‍♀️💫

I am training for and running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in loving memory of Neive Warwick.

Neive was a beautiful 3 year old girl when she and my daughter first became friends in nursery, and then reception, at school in Leamington. They were thick as thieves and shared a sense of humour, compassion, and lust for life.

When the girls returned to school in year 1, Neive was not herself. She was eventually (after many appointments and fob-offs) diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma - a soft tissue sarcoma - on her brain. She endured over a year of chemotherapy, Proton therapy and fighting an amazing fight - finally enjoying some remission and much deserved special time with her family, as well as time back at school with Ada by her side.

Heartbreakingly, Neive’s condition relapsed aggressively and ultimately took her life, 90 years too soon, in October 2023.

Childhood cancer isn’t rare through the eyes of Sarah - Neive’s Mum. It’s severely underfunded and under acknowledged.

Through Alice’s Arc and Neive’s Arc we have gained a platform to advocate for others. We have also been gifted the ability to fundraise and enable vital research projects into RMS to go ahead and hopefully one day find a cure.

It’s too late for Neive but Sarah is (inspiringly) continuing to fight for your children, in Neive’s honour.

Please support me while I do my small part towards fundraising in Neive’s memory, and to save the lives of other children with rhabdomyosarcoma.

Neive’s Arc is a sub-arm of Alice’s Arc, which was inspired by Alice's journey with cancer. She was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma at age 3 in March 2015. She had 20 months of chemotherapy at GOSH, UK and proton radiation in the US. Alice spent a year cancer free but it returned in February 2018. She underwent 6 months of chemotherapy and a procedure known as AMORE in Amsterdam involving surgery and brachytherapy. Alice spent another year clear before tumours were found in her abdomen and pelvis in July 2019. There were no options left. Alice died, aged 7, in October 2019.
