Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I appear to have learned absolutely nothing.
On 19 September, I’m doing Tough Mudder again. 🏃♂️💦🧱
Having somehow survived 15km of mud, obstacles, questionable decisions and a worrying amount of crawling earlier this year, I thought the sensible thing to do would be to do it all over again.
So here we go… Tough Mudder Round Two!
But this time, I’m doing it to raise money for Success Club.
Success Club is a charity doing some brilliant work with children and young people who are at risk of under-achieving academically and socially. Their programmes focus on wellbeing, personal development, confidence, positive behaviour and mindfulness, helping young people develop the tools to fulfil their potential.
Their aim is beautifully simple:
No child left behind
And that feels like something worth getting muddy for.
I know there are plenty of worthy causes asking for your support, so I’m not going to ask you to fund my entry fee, my trainers or my increasingly questionable life choices.
But if you can spare £5, £10 or whatever you can afford, I'd really appreciate it.
A few pounds from lots of people can make a genuinely meaningful difference.
And if you want to find out more about Success Club before deciding whether to donate, have a look at what they do:

As for me…
I’m 54.
I know exactly what awaits me.
I know it will hurt.
And apparently I’m doing it voluntarily.
Wish me luck. I’m going to need it!
