On 10th July, myself and other colleagues from Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) will be taking part in an exciting fundraising event to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. We will be participating in a charity abseil, descending the iconic Lloyd’s Building in the City of London.

As many of you know, I lost my mum to cancer in September 2024. She was supposed to have immunotherapy, but sadly never made it that far. The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity facilitates ground-breaking research in immunotherapy that has the potential to help so many cancer patients. Had it been more evolved, my mum have been able to receive it. It would be amazing to give people in a similar position to her one last chance at fighting cancer.

This is a charity that is very close to my heart and I know how proud my mum would be of me. Sadly, she never got to witness me get my first job at TMK, so I feel very proud to be doing this with them as I know she will be looking down in me with the biggest smile the whole time. This is a tribute to her and I hope, with your help, we can raise as much possible for this charity.
