Story
About ARC and CRASH:
ARC Building Solutions was founded in 2008 by Andrew Danzey, Russell Irving and Colin Mack, together our founding directors outlined ARCs core values.
It is because of these values that ARC prioritises activities that bring people together and help us to support much needed charitable projects.
In 2023, ARC teamed up CRASH, a charity who exists to deliver meaningful social impact to communities across the UK by helping homelessness charities and hospices with vital construction projects. Helping to solve the rising homelessness issue in the UK by funding projects which strive to provide safe & affordable housing for those in need.
Some of the ARC team have committed to our goal and together we have set ourselves the aim of raising £500 for CRASH by June 2024.
What is the ‘Yorkshire 3 Peaks’?
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is an area of outstanding natural beauty, based in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and covers the 3 best known hills in the area: Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough
The challenge itself involves walking in a circular route from one peak to the next covering a total distance of 24.5 miles and taking on average 12 hours to complete.
Why the Yorkshire 3 Peaks?
As a company, we take pride in rising to the ongoing challenges within the construction industry. This has enabled us to foster a culture that motivates our employees to face and overcome challenges, not only in the workplace but also in their personal lives, thereby having a positive impact on their mental health.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is an excellent opportunity for us to push boundaries out of our comfort zone, through working as a group to learn new skills and expand our minds.
