We’re taking on the London Marathon 2026 as Team Archie, running (and pushing!) 26.2 miles to raise money for InFocus - the incredible charity that has supported Archie for over a decade.

Archie first joined InFocus in 2011, starting at the college and later moving into one of their supported living homes. Since then, he’s grown in ways that still surprise us. His confidence and independence have grown hugely - we found this out when we visited and caught him putting on his shoes and doing up his coat with zero help. After years of us doing it for him… he’d clearly been keeping that skill quiet. Classic Archie.

InFocus has created an environment where Archie feels safe, settled, understood and genuinely happy. He’s surrounded by friends who are similar to him, and supported by staff who care deeply.

For Archie, InFocus is so much more than a service. It’s his home, his community, and the place where he’s been able to grow into the confident, funny, kind person we see today.

We’re running this marathon with Archie to give something back to the charity that has given him so much, and to help them continue supporting children and adults with complex needs to live full, joyful, independent lives.
