From Archie's mum, Anita:

Archie Reynolds, my Son, very sadly passed away recently. Some of Archie's friends have decided to organise an event for this men's mental health charity due to Archie keeping his personal struggles to himself. He then turned to alcohol and became addicted. We have chosen men's mental health because it appears, that men in particular, really struggle to speak up about their problems. Archie only just started to speak up a little, shortly before he died - he mentioned the pressure he felt in life.

Archie was a wonderful person and we all miss him so much. We hope to assist this charity to help others.

Daniel Davies: "Our close friendship group, 11 of us, want to honour Archie's legacy and 'action-man' lifestyle by doing a typical 'Archie' activity every year around his birthday - 22nd October. This year, we've gone big, as he always did and will be completing a 22 mile trek through the Peak District on 19th October.

Archie is the best friend to us all, through sheer loyalty and humour he was simply the best person to be around. He knew no limits when it came to his relationships and would not hesitate to move heaven and earth to help and be there for friend or family. This loss will hurt us forever but we love him too much to not turn this into something positive as he would have.

Using all the tricks and tips he taught us over the last 20+ years of adventures with him, we aim to complete this trek together for Archie and this very important cause. Thank you for any and all support".
