🪂 Taking the Leap for Trinity & Brian’s Children’s Hospice
The Challenge: Jumping from 10,000 feet.
The Goal: Raising vital funds for local hospice care.
The Date: May 3, 2026
Why I’m Falling from the Sky
I’ve decided to swap solid ground for the open air to support two incredible organisations that provide comfort, dignity, and specialised care when families need it most: Trinity Hospice and Brian’s House Children’s Hospice.
While the thought of jumping out of a plane is terrifying, it’s nothing compared to the courage shown every day by the patients and families supported by these charities.
About the Charities
• Trinity Hospice: They provide compassionate end-of-life care for adults across our community, ensuring that no one has to face a life-limiting illness alone. Their work is about adding life to days, even when days cannot be added to life.
• Brian’s House: As one of the few local specialist children’s hospices, they provide a "home away from home" for some of the most fragile children in our area. It’s a place of joy, play, and expert clinical care for youngsters with complex needs.
How Your Donation Helps
Every penny raised goes directly toward nursing care, bereavement support, and specialized equipment.
• £25 could fund a session of play therapy for a child at Brian’s House.
• £50 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care at Trinity.
• £100 helps provide the essential support families need during their toughest moments.
Support My Jump
I am aiming to raise £395. Whether it’s the price of a coffee or a larger sponsorship, every single donation keeps me motivated as I head toward that plane door!
