Ariana is setting herself a personal challenge by running the junior 2K in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on Saturday 25 May, and would really like to raise money for a local charity which means so much to many families.

First Step is a community project based in the Musselburgh East housing estate. They provide opportunities for local families with young children to make positive choices in their lives by providing supportive centre-based and outreach activities which encourage parents and children to develop their self-esteem, confidence and skills. First Step offers a variety of services including parenting and family support, groups and courses for parents, counselling, and nursery provision.
