Who am I
My name is Arjan Matharu, and I am a Scout with the 313th Sahibzadas Sikh Scout Group in Birmingham.
When not at schoool, I spend my time playing Hockey for my local team, learning Thai Boxing and Dj'ing!

What am I fundraising for?
Gilwell Park is known for its Scouting heritage. There are a number of activities including a Faith Walk, reflecting UK Scouts' commitment to inclusivity for people of different religions as well as those of no formal faith. There are a number of amazing places for a number of religions, however as of yet there is no sanctuary representing the Sikh faith.
The 13th Sikh Scout Group in Southall have been fundraising for the cause and I now want to personally help towards this!

What am I going to do?
As part of my personal Scouts challenge, I have challenged myself to run at least 30 Miles within the month of May! I have mapped out different routes, that are local to me and will be running these as often as I can! some times I will run twice as day as there are days where I train hockey where I am unable to go for a run! For example its 1.2 miles from my house to my grandparents, so will have tea with them and run back!
