I have worked in care for the last eight years a role which I very much enjoy and when it was suggested taking part in the Cambridge Half Marathon on March 8th 2026 to raise funds for Caring Together a charity which supports unpaid carers I didn’t think twice.

Caring for someone can be stressful, overwhelming and exhausting and they can't provide the care they want to, and may be in crisis themselves. Caring Together supports carers with expert advice, opportunities to meet other carers, breaks from caring, counselling and more!
