Story
Andrew Simkins completed his 2,700 mile English coastal and borders (Hadrian's Wall and Offa's Dyke) walk as his contribution towards the Army Flying Museum's 40th anniversary celebrations.
Andrew set out a few years ago to walk the South West Coast Path, but then just kept walking. He finished the walk on Weymouth Esplanade on Sunday 27th October.
Two days after finishing his walk, he recorded the 'River Itchen' episode of Radio 4's Ramblings with Clare Balding.
He has taken a close interest in the Army Flying Museum ever since it was established within the Army Aviation Centre, and was delighted that a purpose built museum was constructed on its present site 40 years ago.
I hope you will feel able to donate, in recognition of Andrew's walk, and help the Museum. Please help me reach over £2,000!
Thank you.
