Story
They say that grief can make you do funny things. Well………
Sadly, on 12th February, my wonderful Dad passed away. His main cause of death was Prostate Cancer.
My family and I are simply devastated. To lose a wonderful Dad of 4, Grandad of 8 and husband of 57 years is absolutely heartbreaking.
To honour his memory, I want to do something a bit crazy to try to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK charity.
I’ve decided to attempt to cycle the full width of the UK! 400 odd miles in total. Not in a couple of weeks, not even in a week, but in only 4 days. 100 miles a day on average and negotiating 20000 feet of climbing! The route starts in St David’s, Wales and finishes in Lowestoft. I did say it was crazy…..
I will attempt this lone journey on 6th - 9th July 2025.
Please, if you can, help me to try to reach my target and raise some super important funds in our fight against Prostate Cancer. 1 in 8 men get prostate cancer. Together, we’re supporting our dads, brothers, sons, partners and friends - by raising awareness, funding lifesaving research, campaigning for change and providing helpful support and information.
Thank you.
Mark
