Story
For the second time, I have (perhaps foolishly!) decided to pull on the Lycra and join the cycling brigade. This time, I'll be taking on an incredible challenge across Tanzania.
Over five days, I'll cycle almost 400km through hot, humid conditions, tackling sand, dust, rough terrain and plenty of sun along the way. Accommodation will be basic, with camping for much of the trip—so there won't be many creature comforts to rely on!
Why am I doing this? That's a fair question.
I'm riding to raise money for The Urology Foundation (TUF), the UK's only charity dedicated to fighting all urological diseases. Despite being a small charity, their team works tirelessly to fund vital research, raise awareness, and help improve the lives of people affected by urological conditions.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support ground breaking research into new treatments and cures. Your support will also provide a huge boost when I'm knee-deep in sand, covered in dust, and questioning my life choices somewhere in the Tanzanian wilderness!
Thank you for your generosity and encouragement—it really does make a difference.
