Story
On 16th November I'm taking part in a charity boxing match at Doncaster Race Course for a charity that is very close to my heart, Crossroads Care Rotherham.
Crossroads provide crucial care to people in Rotherham who suffer with Dementia, like my wonderful nan. The work they do provides those affected by Dementia with a level of help that they wouldn't have access to otherwise. This includes Domiciliary care where support is given to allow people to carry out the tasks that most of us take for granted like a visit to the shops and doctors appointments, or something as simple as friendship and companionship. They also offer carer respite to give carers a well deserved break from the hard work that they carry out every day. This is an essential service for those with Dementia and their families in Rotherham, providing that extra bit of care and support during a very difficult time for all of those affected by the cruelty of dementia.
I would really appreciate any support or donations, big or small, to this cause that is really important to me and my family.
