Story
Why I'm fundraising
For those that don't know, despite the hell of a fight she put up, we lost my sister Sam in December last year (f**k cancer). Sam spent her final week with us in the care of the amazing team at the Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury. The team there made what was already an impossible week a little more possible. We will be forever grateful for their support, sensitivity and care and they deserve (and need) every penny we can raise.
About Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity provides comprehensive and high-quality care for local people with life-limiting illnesses wherever and whenever they need it. We support their loved ones and carers through the toughest of times. We help families make the most of every day together.
The Challenge
Quite simple really (on paper), on the 24th May 2025 I will be running 100km from London to Brighton including a 1500m climb over the South & North downs and all through the Surrey & Sussex countryside. This will be the longest distance I have ever run in one continuous effort. For anyone interested, more info on the details of the challenge can be found here: https://www.ultrachallenge.com/london-2-brighton-challenge/challenge-options/
Thank you so much for your donations - it means an incredible amount and will make a big difference.
