Howdy Friends,

A window of opportunity has opened to allow me to take a short break from my career and attempt a solo-cycle across America! I will be doing this to raise funds for an amazing charity called Only A Pavement Away whose work connects people facing homelessness to jobs within hospitality

“We connect forward-thinking hospitality employers with charities working with people facing or at risk of homelessness, including prison leavers and veterans, to help place them into long-term, stable employment within hospitality.”

My journey will zigzag from West to East across the huge nation starting in Los Angeles and finishing in New York roughly 4000 miles, and 45,000 metres of ascent later. I will be camping along the way and occasionally staying with generous folk from the Warm Showers community (https://www.warmshowers.org/). I will be flying out to LA on 15th February and my aim is to complete the journey in under 90 days. You will be able to keep track of my progress via Facebook, Instagram, and Komoot. I will share these links with you shortly.

Any donations to this great cause would be hugely appreciated as this will most likely be a once-in-a-lifetime fundraiser event.
