Guys, just a quick explanation on the upcoming Enniskillen run in association with the RVH Liver Support Group. As well as my love of Audis I also have a love of helping others. When I left the Belleek Group a few years back I wanted to give something back to society so I joined the RVH Liver Support Group. We are celebrating 25 years this year helping all of those with any sort of liver condition within N Ireland. This support comes in many forms, from financial help for those that need transplants to telephone support night or day and also to providing equipment to the regional liver unit and much needed funding for clinical research within the NHS setting.

Liver disease, in it’s many forms, is on the increase in N Ireland and this is reflected by the fact that the number of liver consultants in the RVH has grown from two in the mid 1990s to eight now and soon to be further increased. Organ donation is also something that we encourage within the Province as its critical to save the lives of those with end stage liver disease.

As the Liver Support Group are celebrating 25 years this year it is my hope that we can get 25 Audis to come join us on what will be a wonderful day. Also, I have set up a “just giving “ page where Audi members can make a donation to the Charity even though they may not be able to come along on the day. All of the work that we do is done by us on a completely voluntary basis and all donations are used totally for our patient’s wellbeing and that of their carers.
