Arthur's Steve Parr for Battle Scars

Arthur Hill is raising money for Battle Scars

Steve Parr Round · 2 May 2026

Our vision is to make sure nobody who struggles with self-harm, in whichever form, fights alone, and to break down the stigma surrounding self-harm. Our definition of self-harm is broad: any harm done to the body or mind, external or internal, with short or long-term effect.

Story

Battle Scars provides a safe space for anyone struggling with self-harm through both face-to-face and virtual support services, as well as supporting impacted families, partners and friends. The incredible work this charity performs is close to my heart and I am keen to raise both money and awareness for this cause. There are many for whom self-harm is an ongoing struggle and concern - I want to be able to help them however I can.

On May 2nd 2026 I will be attempting to run the Steve Parr Round, a 115-mile circuit of all the 2,500ft peaks of the Lake District (61 in total), with an aim to complete it within 48hrs. I will be supported along the way by family and friends both on the hill and at road crossings and am excited to undertake this challenge surrounded by incredible people in the most beautiful landscape.

Thank you so much for taking the taking the time to read this and to donate whatever you can, it means the world.
