For over 30 years, patients, families, staff and supporters have supported Haematology Cancer Care because we help the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH.

Story

I'm running the London 10k on July 13th for Haematology Cancer Care, a UCLH charity.

I first ran the London 10k for HCC in 2019 after making a BBC documentary called War In The Blood following two patients, Graham, and Mahmood, through a landmark clinical trial for CAR T-cell therapy at UCLH. You can watch the film here - https://vimeo.com/347541240. The treatment is a huge breakthrough and is now available to NHS patients thanks to the contribution of Graham and Mahmood and others.

I'm running again to continue supporting HCC and because my father is now receiving treatment for leukaemia so it feels even more personal.

HCC are a wonderful charity run by hugely passionate and kind people and any donation, however small, makes a big difference.

Thanks!

Arthur
