Story

🎉 Get your needles ready because Artrium are hosting the ultimate knitting extravaganza – the 24-Hour Knitathon!

As the sun rises on Friday morning, we'll be casting on our first stitches, ready to embark on a knitting journey like no other. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up your needles for the first time, there's a place for you at our knitathon.

The 24-Hour knitting project will be starting at 8am on Friday and ending 8am Saturday. 😱 That's right, we're stitching our way through an entire day and night for a fantastic cause!

Artrium has been a beacon of hope in Hartlepool since 2003, using the power of art to promote mental well-being and resilience. By participating in our knitathon, you'll be helping to raise vital funds that enable us to continue our important work..

From 9 am to 9 pm on Friday 26th April, we'll be hosting a knit and natter session that's open to all. Bring your current project or start something new – either way, you'll find plenty of inspiration and encouragement in the company of fellow knitters. At 9pm we will be closing the doors and working through the night with support from volunteers and members.

So mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready to knit your socks off at Artrium's 24-Hour Knitathon! Together, we'll stitch our way to a brighter future for mental health in Hartlepool and beyond.
