Our very special ARTventurers Charity Week will be running wc 12th October for 2 weeks, when we will be having TONS of painty fun in our classes across the country to raise money for a variety of absolutely amazing charities.

This is ARTventurers Durham's very first charity week (eek!) and we will be working together to raise vital funds for the absolutely brilliant charity, 4Louis.

4Louis works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, and the death of a baby or child. They understand the pain and heartbreak that families go through and are dedicated to providing support and comfort during this difficult time. They provide memory boxes filled with keepsakes and mementos to help families create lasting memories of their loved one. They also provide useful tools, equipment, and training free of charge to hospital units, hospices, and other professionals who work with grieving families.

As always, we will be asking our customers to take part in our sponsored painty footprint challenge, along with lots of other fundraising activities.

During the month of October, I will also be taking part in 4Louis' Silent Steps event, where I will be aiming to walk at least 260,076 steps (that's approximately 120 miles); one step for every baby, infant and child lost across the UK in the last year.
