I wish to raise as much money as possible for Alzheimers Research UK to help the world move closer to better treatment, and finally one day a cure. It is a cause very close to my heart.

Over the course of the next week I will be painting a large scale mural depicting a sweeping vista of Sunderlands landscape, from Roker pier to Penshaw monument. This piece will hopefully last for many years to come within the Sunderland Royal Hospital dementia ward. I hope it will serve to offer genuine solace for those suffering with this terrible affliction. To help them find a moment of harmony amidst the perpetual anguish.
