Story
Last year on 30th April, my husband Dee died unexpectedly from a sudden cardiac arrest.
No warning, no chance to say goodbye. In a few minutes, our world was shattered and lives changed forever.
On 12th April, I am running the London Landmark Half Marathon, alongside his sister and brother in law, in Dee’s memory. For the amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend he was.
This run is more than a race. It is a promise to keep moving forward, to carry his memory with courage, and to honour the love that never ends.
Every mile carries a piece of our story - our laughter, our dreams and the life we built together.
Every step is in remembrance of his kindness, his resilience, the way he made the world feel a little gentler for those around him. For his unconditional love, support and generosity.
And when I cross the finish line, I will do so knowing he has been with me every step of the way.
Your donation will help to support the British Heart Foundation and honour my husband’s memory.
Thank you for supporting us in this cause and helping us turn loss and grief into something meaningful.
