Arya & Danny Take on the Shrewsbury 5K!

Hi, we’re Danny and Arya— a father and daughter taking on the Shrewsbury 5K together.

Arya is a 12-year-old junior athlete with big dreams. She’s been training hard and is aiming to break the 20-minute barrier, improving on her current time of 21:38. This race is a big step towards that goal, and she’s determined to give it everything she’s got.

Danny is her biggest supporter. After years away from running, he’s lacing up his trainers again — not just for this race, but to be able to keep up with Arya on those long runs in the future! His goal is to finish in under 25 minutes.

We’re taking on this challenge to support Little Stars, a charity that believes every child in Shropshire should have access to the essential items they need to grow — no matter their situation.
