Taymour’s Tennisathon · 7 September 2025

We perform pioneering research into genetic abnormalities of brain tumours, novel imaging techniques & drug delivery. We also excel in diagnosis, innovative treatment & raising awareness. Additional funding will enable crucial advances to be made in understanding & treating childhood brain tumours.

Story

Taymour’s friend, James, got diagnosed with a brain tumour in April 2024. James and his family are amazing beyond words. They have been a true inspiration through their determination and fund raising, whilst going through an intensive treatment journey.

Taymour would like to raise money for the Children’s Tumour Research Centre Nottingham. He will be doing a Tennisathon at Attenborough Tennis Club on Sunday 7th September from 10am to 4pm. You can pay £5 to play with him for a half an hour slot (3 slots available per half an hour). It doesn’t matter if you haven’t played before, there will be spare rackets. Just come and have some fun!

He would also be very appreciative of any sponsorship money, even if it’s a couple of spare pounds.

Feel free to pop down on the day and cheer him on, and his sister will be selling some cakes on the day to add to the funds.

Thank you for your support!
