Story
Hi, I’m Asaad and I’m running my first marathon ever on Nov 18th! I’m doing the Kirkstall Abbey trail to support the UK Emergency Response team of the British Red Cross.
They are amazing people who help those in need during emergencies, both in the UK and around the world. They have been doing incredible work in Syria, where millions of people are suffering from the conflict. They have provided food, water, shelter, and medical care to many of them.
They also do a lot of good work in the UK and Palestine. In the UK, they offer wellbeing activities for schools, first aid training, support for refugees, and more. In Palestine, they have launched an emergency appeal to help people affected by the violence in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They have been providing medical aid, ambulance support, and relief kits to thousands of people.
I’m not a pro runner, but I’m passionate about this cause and I want to do my best. And I need your help to make it happen. Please donate whatever you can to support the British Red Cross and their life-saving work. Every penny counts and makes a difference.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure and showing that we can do anything if we put our minds to it!
