Suicide&Co provide one-to-one counselling support to people bereaved by suicide. Thanks to your donations and fundraising efforts we can provide practical and emotional support to help people through their grief journey.

Story

On the 19th September 2023 our lives changed forever when we lost our husband and dad, Robert, to suicide. In 2023 the suicide rate for men in England and Wales rose to its highest in 26 years. There is a global mental health crisis. Each year, more than 700,000 people die by suicide worldwide. That’s one life lost every 40 seconds. Robert was one.

As we began our grief journey, we found Suicide&Co., a charity that became our lifeline. They offered counselling, resources, and a support network that has helped us navigate our loss. Their work is vital, and we are committed to raising funds so others can access the same help that we had. Nobody should grieve from suicide alone.

Over the next two years we will be undertaking a number of challenges to raise money. Rowing the Atlantic in 2027 is the pinnacle of our fundraising effort.

Thank you for giving so generously. This is not about rowing an ocean. It is about helping others survive the hardest moments in life.
